V's

Honourable guests. As like there is always truth beneath the truth, there are many "V"s behind the V Empire. Let me show you more about my blog.

First of all, the address of the blog "http://v01010110v.blogspot.com". Of course, "http://" and ".blogspot.com" are not my choices, but "v01010110v" is. Visitors always blame me for the garrulous combination of 0's and 1's. Here is the V Empire, so you know why there are 2 "V"s, but what does "01010110" means? Before answering this question, please let me tell you something about the language for computers. The language for computers is called binary. Every character for a computer, no matter an alphabet or punctuation, is a combination of 0's and 1's. And, the binary for capital V is "01010110".

Next, we come to my introduction. Obviously, I wrote a vers libre (自由體詩) with 55 v-started words. V is the roman number for 5, so I made 55 V's there.

Last but not the least, let me tell you about the background music which you are listening now. As you know, it is the first movement of the Symphony No. 5 in C minor, Op. 67, by Ludwig van Beethoven, which is also called the Fate Symphony. Since it is the fifth symphony of Beethoven, it is related to V. besides, the first bar of the music, which most of you know how to hum, is short-short-short-long; this combination is exactly equal to the Morse Code for 5 (···–)!

You are surprised, right? Therefore you know, there are always reasons behind actions.

Cheerio!
